In 2021 we successfully raised money and built a borehole in Kalalasi Village. The more than 2000 people living in the village now have a reliable, clean and accessible water supply - which according to staff at the village health centre has noticeably reduced the occurrence of waterborne illnesses.
We are now raising money for a new borehole.

In Matai town, in the administrative district of Kalambo, there is a new secondary school for girls with about 250 students. Unfortunately, students there face several challenges - a major one being the lack of a clean water supply.
To maintain hygiene, the schoolgirls spend a lot of time walking to fetch water; which they pay for out of their own pockets.
The water they collect is used for drinking, which often causes stomach issues. The situation becomes especially difficult for girls when they are menstruating.
SUDA has decided to provide water to this new school by building a borehole just like the one we successfully completed in Kalalasi village.
We need your support to raise £6000 to complete this work. As a small charity, you can be assured that every penny we collect is directly used for benefit of the community. Your contribution will make a real difference to giving these girls the chance to complete their education with dignity.
